Scope of Work: Cold-Formed Metal Framing, Rough Carpentry, Gypsum Sheathing, Insulation, Doors, Wallboard and Finishing, Acoustic Wall Panels, Acoustical Ceilings.
About This Project: The Sojourner Truth Library, originally constructed in 1969, needed to offer the expanded services and expectations of a university library in the digital age.
Improvements include renovation of the courtyard east facade with a glazed entrance vestibule and adjacent bays to provide interior daylight and an inviting exterior.
There is also a group study area, conference spaces, library furniture, new main-level public restrooms, and a new central circulation desk.
